Aloha all! Just a quick note to thank everyone for helping make my latest CD release, “Under The Banyan Tree” a great success. As many of you know, this CD is the very first full-length live recording made under THE banyan tree in Old Town Lahaina, here on Maui. Not only does this particular tree have magical properties, it’s 136 years old and takes up over 2/3rd’s of an acre. This CD is also my first full-length collaboration with new age flutist, Lance Israel. It’s somewhat different from my other releases- this one was meant to be peaceful and meditative to help banish the stress of everyday life. Apparently- judging by the many emails I’ve already received- “UTBT” has, and continues, to achieve that goal. The current ‘econocapalypse’ we’re all living through must have something to do with it. It’s nice to just tune it all out for 64 minutes!
